Do you want to run it yourself?
The Kelpie core is open source under AGPL-3.0. Self-hosted Kelpie is free and has no record limits. You manage the servers, and you bring your own AI key.
Questions
What counts as a record?
People and companies. Deals, notes, Plan items, and other records do not count toward the limit.
What happens when I reach a limit?
We do not delete anything. You keep all your records, fields, and members. You cannot add more people or companies until you upgrade or remove some. Your website forms continue to receive submissions, so you do not lose leads.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your workspace moves to the Free plan. You keep all your data. Upgrade at any time to get Team features again.
What is a Kelpie AI run?
One task that Kelpie AI does on one record. For example, it writes a deal summary or adds Plan items. The count starts again each month.
Can I use my own agent?
Yes, on every plan. Connect Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Your agent uses the same API as the app.
Do you charge per seat?
No. Every plan has unlimited seats. You pay per workspace.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Export people, companies, positions, and deals as CSV, or read all your data with the REST API. The core is open source, so you can also self-host it.
Which currency do you charge in?
US dollars. Tax can apply, based on where you are.
